Founded in 1992 by Mr. Ashok Kr. Gupta, Omni Impex emerged with a clear vision: to fulfil the evolving needs of the chainsaw and automobile industries by offering world-class solutions tailored to Indian requirements. This visionary approach laid the foundation for the company’s growth and reputation.
Omni Impex places a strong emphasis on technology and customer-centricity, constantly striving to introduce innovative advancements to the region. Mr. Ashok Kr. Gupta became a part of the family business, Tools House, which originated in 1950. Initially focusing on hand tools and carpentry tools in West Bengal and nearby states, the business was established by Mr. Gupta’s father. Recognizing the potential for diversification, Mr. Ashok Gupta, a visionary entrepreneur, envisioned expanding the business’s horizons.
In 1992, he took a significant step by introducing Oregon Tools to India and establishing a new entity known as Omni Impex. With Mr. Gupta’s leadership and guidance, Omni Impex has made a distinct mark in the forestry and lawn & garden segments. Building upon the foundation laid by is father, Mr. Gupta’s strategic approach has propelled the company to new heights of success.

Mr. Ankoor Gupta, a commerce and business studies graduate, was groomed from a young age to be part of the family business. With a natural vision and a talent for taking Omni Impex to greater heights within the industry, he stepped into the business in 2003. Ankoor has played a pivotal role in expanding the product portfolio and introducing new brands to the Indian market, demonstrating his commitment to diversification.
Ankoor possesses a keen understanding of consumer needs and consistently strives to deliver quality and service. He recognizes the importance of fulfilling a larger purpose beyond mere business operations. Under Ankoor’s capable leadership, Omni Impex has expanded its reach to nearly every corner of India, solidifying its presence across the country.

As a Partner at Omni Impex, Prerona brings a wealth of global experience to her entrepreneurial endeavors. With a background in Physics and a Master’s in Computer Applications, she furthered her education with a Master’s in Business Management. Prerona has honed her expertise in Marketing and Operations, having contributed her skills to both the North American and Asian markets. She also ensures all delivery processes are optimally optimized. At Omni Impex, her primary focus is on ensuring exceptional customer service delivered punctually.
